Meet Our Park Ranger

Fort Townsend State Park is managed by Park Ranger Patty Anderson.  She is hard at work every day making the park run smoothly.  And she is a good friend of FOFT.

“Hi Friends!

I am approaching 40 years of service as a Park Ranger with Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission. I have been fortunate to be a steward in many of Northwest Washington’s most beautiful recreational areas. Each one is special in its own way. Many were exceedingly popular and heavily visited. Others were quiet yet special places.

Each park has held a place in my heart as I left my mark upon them in their development.  I have always been and continue to be a “hands on Ranger.” Please stop by.  I usually will be out in the park striving to make it better.  Fort Townsend State Park is one of those special parks.  Please join us in enhancing and keeping this park at its best.
